Torbay Folk Arts Council and Torbay History House are seeking nominations to our Arts
and Culture Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is situated at Torbay History House and
celebrates those in the Arts community that have contributed to the rich culture and
heritage of Town of Torbay.
We are seeking nominations from all sectors of our Arts community in the following
categories:
Performance: singers, actors, storytellers
Visual Arts: Painters, sculptors, photographers
Crafts: Knitters, embroiderers, quilters, woodworkers
Builders: Those who have contributed to the preservation of the rich culture and
heritage of the Town of Torbay
Groups and organizations from any of the categories may also be nominated
Nominations are open to residents, non residents and former residents. Posthumous
nominations will also be accepted.
Selection of the inductees into the Hall will be done by the Arts and Culture Hall of
Fame selection committee.
Inductees into the Hall of Fame will be honored in a ceremony held on Saturday,
February 21, 7pm at Torbay History House
